Creating new specs should be hassle - free.

One idea would be to add a "new spec" button which would reduce the number of manual steps you need to take.

Some ideas for acceptance criteria

  • A new google doc is created with a title including a next available number in your team (e.g. MA-114)
  • The document is using the latest specification template

In the first iteration it could just open a page with instructions on how to create a new specification document manually: #25

it should not be the template of your team. Common template is regularly updated in case of style or content changes, while team templates cannot be centrally controlled
