Would be good to include a MOTD as part of the global navigation

To announce important releases, features, products or new job positions available might be a good idea to have a link as part of the global navigation:

Obviously this will be compromised on mobile but we can either show a short form of it or just hide it completely.

I think this is a great idea. We may want a way to update it remotely in the future but hard coding the promotion would be a good way to test if this feature can reach success criteria before expanding on the its functionality.

It appears that MOTD has multiple lines. For example:
