Question about the values in the State column #45
Comments
Hi! Thanks! If you get "Out of Policy" it means that the OU/object is not in your template file. Cheers |
Hi Robin
Thanks for the info. Also the meaning of the word missing is a little bit vague :) . I was running the scan and using the default Server 2016 RTM Server Domain Default DACL file as the template.
I’m actually an ex-Microsoft FTE and I’ve got some suggestions if you are open to some ideas?
Once again thanks for a really great tool. I'm combining it with a few other tools to get some insight into an environment

Hi!
Thanks!
If you get "Out of Policy" it means that the OU/object is not in your template file.
I will change that in the next release.
Cheers

Hi Robin
First of all thanks for a very useful tool. I'm using it correlate some findings by another tool.
I gave a question about the values in the state column when running a compare against the default templates for Server 2016 and I'm curious about the meanings of the values that show up,
For example what does Missing mean versus Out of Policy, mean exactly? I need to explain this to customer and I'm not 100% usure.
Any help would be appreciated.
