Task Runner color output

It would be really helpful to get color output in the VS Task runner output. After looking at other task runner extensions I see it is possible and usually up to the process that is running to provide the color. Cake does this by default. Is what causes color to not work in VS 2017 a known problem or have ideas on where to look?

I would be more than happy to make a PR but am hoping for some guidance.
