As part of their ongoing attempt to force people to use their app and redesigned web app, Reddit now uses 'share' links embedded with several tracking parameters that always redirect away from old.reddit.com or alternate frontends. A share link, like https://reddit.com/r/subreddit/s/id, looks like a shortened link but it is not.
Two solutions I have seen are https://github.com/QuantumBadger/RedReader/pull/1123 and https://github.com/Docile-Alligator/Infinity-For-Reddit/pull/1580.

Noting that expanding these opaque links requires resolving the URL manually. So it's aimed at making shared URLs "cleaner" (similar to copy clean link), not avoiding tracking when visiting URLs (what debounce does).
