Cannot change resource endpoint on the fly

With this code it is not possible to change endpoint to those coming from the outer world response.

import boto3


resource = boto3.resouce("s3")


def process_message(media):
    media_info = get_media_info()
    if resource.meta.client._endpoint.host != media_info["url"]:
        resource.meta.client._endpoint.host = media_info["url"]
   obj = resource.Object(media_info["bucket"], media_info["key"]
   obj.upload_fileobj(media)

This will not work, it tries to connect the url with view: http:://<bucket>.minio:<port>/<key>. However if I create new resource on each call with endpoint_url passed it always works. Is it OK If I substitute it with creating resource object inside the function?

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you're trying to do but MinIO's documentation shows passing endpoint_url to a resource here: https://docs.min.io/docs/how-to-use-aws-sdk-for-python-with-minio-server.html
