boto3 python support policy inconsistent with GLUE

In the following blog on boto3, it is advised to migrate to Python 3.8 or higher:

I like this idea, but unfortunately AWS GLUE does not support this version and therefore it does not make sense to upgrade, as can be read in the AWS release notes:

This raised the following questions:

• Will Python 3.8 be supported by GLUE in the future?

• If so, is there any clarity on the timeline for this?

• If not, how should we deal with using boto3 in GLUE?
