I think it's pretty harmless, but if multiple moderators approve a signup before the bot checks, then the user will get signed up multiple times, as in this post. Needs a check to make sure sign ups can't happen multiple times.

Just confirmed this doesn't cause a database corruption, so isn't urgent to fix but still a nice to have 🤷‍♀️
