The popup cart on the top-right corner is covered by other elements in the page (tried in ff e chrome)

which elements? does this happen in vanilla plone or in a custom site?

I haven't tried a vanilla installation, but worked with diazo.off=1 parameter in the url.
The element I'm talking about is

Adding just a z-index>0 works for me.
