Timeline interface overhaul

Rather than re-implementing somewhat standard log view controls we should leverage some examples of UX we are already familiar with. We also want to compact the events so that it's easier to view large amounts of data.

• Add the ability to tail or not tail on the timeline
  
• Controls to go forward and backwards based on the time period selected in the screenshot above
• Timeline should paginate when not in streaming mode #399
