I acknowledge that my use-case is fairly specific (One computer operates as a record station, and runs Companion to do it, another computer operates as a Media Management station, and pulls files from the decks), but I can see this being useful for others as well.
If the connection IP address could be accessed as a variable, it could be used to script more complicated actions and/or the full list of deck connections could be published to a 2nd machine for setup, after configuring them on a first one.
