The catchup is optionally performed in an init container.

After migrating to the new OOB catchup mode (see #61), this only amounts to adding an environment variable. There's no longer is any need for init containers.

Being able to import a full dump of the persistent storage would still be useful. But this probably belongs in an operator of some sort.
