Relicensing / dual licensing?

Hello sir, thank you for pygtail; I'd like to inquire whether the GPL license vs a more permissive one is up for discussion, to simplify the considerations for developers and downstream consumers, which are well-known and hopefully we need not rehash here.

Entirely up to you, of course; just respectfully broaching the topic since the package is widely used and I didn't see prior discussion in these issues. Thank you!
