Managed Private endpoints for non PAAS source

First of all thank you for this article. Many hours of my own tinkering was aided by it and I have a functioning Synapse with it all tied together.
I wonder if you have tried to connect to REST or Microsoft Office365 from inside a managed VNET synapse workspace. I can get neither to work and there appears no capacity to provide managed private endpoints for them.
