The ability to transform/caching fonts and serve image assets sprites for rendering with images (MapLibre sprites) could be a nice feature.

Serving sprites from SVGs will come sooner or later. About transforming fonts I'm not so sure. This is a onetime conversion and tools are available. Or do you see an additional benefit for integrating it?
