I tried to translate Shin-chan game.
for UI and silent text can be translated well.
But for dialogue, it doesn't work at all. Because the dialogue has colored text and animation.
I'll give you some screenshots and videos...

Tools :

  • BepInEx 6.0.0-pre.2
  • XUnity.AutoTranslator-BepInEx-IL2CPP-5.4.1
  • RuntimeUnityEditor_BepInEx6.IL2CPP_v5.5.1 = Not Working.

Maybe it's an image not text? Try enabling texture dumping.

I tried, but it didn't work.

But when I use Override Font
OverrideFontTextMeshPro=arialuni_sdf_u2018
FallbackFontTextMeshPro=arialuni_sdf_u2019

The dialog is missing, no text. and the UI became like this

Btw this is my file .txt for translated Shin chan.
_AutoGeneratedTranslations.txt

in shin chan the incoming translate uses : <voffset=0.44em><color=#00000000><space=-1.03em><line-height=2em>A lively past and future
When other games just use their text for translate..

he probably meant log in ehm /bepinex/ folder (LogOutput.log) or errorlog.
Upload it or put it inside code tag, idk, better to put it as a file

It's below the text window you type in.

Can you try using bepinex 670 and translator 5.3.1? I'm wondering if it can help

Otherwise ripping the text directly from the game files using uabea, translating it and pasting it back might be an option.
