<p>Baato Maps ("we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our Khajanathoon Android App (the "App").</p>
<h2>Targeted Audience</h2>
<p>This App is intended for adult users only. By "adult user," we mean a user who is 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.</p>
<h2>Information We Collect</h2>
<p>We collect the following information from you:</p>

<li><strong>Device ID:</strong> We collect your device ID and associate it with a username that you define during app usage. There is no separate login or signup process.</li>
<li>We do not collect any other personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or billing information.</li>

<h2>Data Retention</h2>
<p>We will retain the collected Device ID associated with your username for as long as you use the App and for a reasonable period thereafter to improve the App's functionality (e.g., potential future personalization features). However, this data will be anonymized such that it cannot be linked back to you as an individual. The data is stored only for event duration, we will delete this anonymized data from our servers after the event is closed.</p>
<h2>Data Used for App Functionality (not stored by us)</h2>
<p>The App utilizes several third-party services to provide its core functionality. These services may collect information directly from your device, and their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies for more information:</p>

<li><strong>Google Firebase:</strong> <a href="https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy">Firebase Privacy Policy</a></li>
<li><strong>Firebase Firestore:</strong> This service is used for potential future functionalities but currently does not store any user data in our case.</li>
<li><strong>Google Play Services:</strong> <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US">Google Privacy Policy</a>
<ul>
<li><strong>Play Services Location:</strong> This service is used to access your precise location data for displaying the map interface and enabling the AR geospatial API. We do not store this data ourselves.</li>
<li><strong>Play Services Auth:</strong> This service is not currently used in the App.</li>
</ul>

<li><strong>Google ARCore:</strong> <a href="https://developers.google.com/ar/develop/privacy-requirements">Google ARCore Privacy Policy</a>
<ul>
<li>This service is used for Augmented Reality functionalities. It may collect data such as device sensors and camera information to enable features like ARCloud anchor identification. We do not store this data ourselves.</li>

<li><strong>Maplibre GL:</strong> <a href="https://maplibre.org/maplibre-gl-js/docs/">Maplibre Privacy Policy</a>
<ul>
<li>This service provides the map data you see within the App. We recommend you review their privacy policy to understand their data practices.</li>

<h2>Camera Permission</h2>
<p>The App requests camera permission solely for ARCloud anchor identification within the AR features. We do not access, store, or transmit any camera data or images captured by your device.</p>
<h2>How We Use Your Information</h2>
<p>We use the collected Device ID associated with your username to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide and personalize your experience within the App (potential future use case).</li>
</ul>
<h2>Sharing Your Information</h2>
<p>We do not share your Device ID or any other user information with any third parties except for the following limited circumstances:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Legal Requirements:</strong> We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.</li>
<li><strong>Service Providers:</strong> We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate and improve the App, but only to the extent necessary to perform those services. These service providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.</li>

<p>We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet or electronic storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your information.</p>

<p>You can manage your location permissions for the App in your device settings. Disabling location services may limit certain functionalities of the App.</p>
