I have checked there is no currently open report for this game. (An updated report can be made for games with previously closed reports).
I have read through the contribution guide here from start to finish.
I have played through this game from start to finish only using official releases of the Lime3DS emulator.
The OpenGL renderer was used for my entire playthrough.

Description
TL;DR
You need to change some settings and tweaks to run the game smoothly without issues.
I'm using an Auto window size resolution, Default screen layout; no mods nor custom textures.
59-60 FPS on the title screen and main menu (X button); 29-30 FPS in the overworld and during battle.
Both are running at 99-100% full speed.
The game is updated to the latest version which is Ver. 1.1.
Before launching
Go to Emulation > Configure... > System > System Settings, change the Language to Japanese. Country should be set to Japan to make the game work.
There's no need to change the Game ROM's emulation to JPN (from Right-clicking the game name > Properties > General > Emulation). Auto-select will detect your current system settings.
If you saw the game intro NOT in Japanese around this part, it means you didn't configure the settings correctly and Lime3DS will crash automatically:
Following the instructions correctly, you'll get past the game intro and title screen:
If your save file is not JPN region, it will override the Username and Country from Lime3DS System Settings instead:
Example: EUR region save file from Bravely Default will 100% work in the FtS version since it's the same ROM but minor changes in the code such as the Alternate Costumes censorships
To fix the missing Mii icons, you need errfix.3dsx (just Google it and you'll see that one Reddit post to download the file).
Put it in the same folder as your ROM and launch it.
It boots in a few seconds and return you to the main window.
Run the game and your Miis' faces are back to normal.
Before:
After:
My Mii icon is missing since I haven't dumped my aes-keys.txt yet from my own 3DS to download MiiMaker (JPN) and re-create my own Mii.
This is after re-creating my own Mii from MiiMaker (JPN).
