Is there an existing issue for this?

What feature are you suggesting?

VNETS like in VMWare, i think there has to be a way to do virtual networking like you see within VMware Workstation Pro 17 and other things like it, i think this approach would be the easiest to do network spoofing over a "NAT" Traversal type.

Why would this feature be useful?

System updating, or in console connections to the outside world, and while maintaining security and safety.
