ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'aws_cdk'

Hi

I'm trying to follow the tutorial your_first_aws_pdk_project

I'm using Python (monorepo-py). I followed the exact steps for Python, the project has been generated and built successful so far but I'm stuck at the step Deploying our infrastructure to the AWS cloud where I have to do cdk bootstrap.

When I run cdk bootstrap in packages/infra directory, I have this error

If I run poetry show to list the packages as installed by the pdk, I can see aws-cdk-lib in the list

I am sure how to proceed next, anyone here successfully followed this tutorial with Python?

Found the answer, I need to activate the correct Python virtualenv created by Poetry. Looking at ~/.cache/pypoetry/virtualenvs, we can find several virtualenvs created by Poetry. Activating the Infra environment like this solves the issue

source ~/.cache/pypoetry/virtualenvs/infra-U20i1DYF-py3.12/bin/activate
