Describe the feature

In the AWS Datazone create-user-profile, it only supports IAM_USER, IAM_ROLE, SSO_USER. However ,according to the AWS DataZone Official Document, it supports SSO_GROUP as well.

Please advise whether this is supported as this is an important feature for us. We need this to be available via aws-cli. Much appreciated

Use Case

We need to add SSO_Group via create user like what is achieved via Console

Proposed Solution

add SSO_GROUP support in the aws-cli datazone create-user-profile.

Hi i was told that create-group-profile can associate the SSO Group. groupIdentifier is the SSO-Group id. However, it lacks of clear documentation and creates confusion.

Hi @haofeif, thanks for reaching out. The document you linked doesn't actually say CreateUserProfile supports SSO_GROUP; the page you linked specifies "in the Amazon DataZone console". The API reference would be a better place to reference what an operation is expected to support. In this case, this looks intentional. How do you think this documentation could be improved to clarify which operation to use for SSO_GROUP?
