Since in update 1.4 I removed the "cookies" permission, if I was to re-add the permission back into "permissions", I suspect that for users who are coming from this update into 1.5, Chrome (as well as the other browsers) would automatically disable the extension
Therefore, I added it as an optional permission

Why am I asking for the "cookies" permission in the first place?
Because I'm considering two scenarios:

  1. The user might be on YouTube, and he's resizing the player. This scenario does not require setting a cookie
  2. The user might not be on YouTube. To make sure that the change is applied when he does visit a video on YouTube, I'm setting a cookie value wide=1 or wide=0 (depending on wh…
