Hey, thanks for this issue. Currently, we are benchmarking the library and working on improving its performance. We definitely want to upgrade the requirements however, we cant see us working on it for another month atleast.

Just FYI, this is preventing installation on my Mac based on the M1 chip (but seemed to work on a Mac on Intel).
The old version of scikit-learn that you're forcing is forcing an old version of numpy, which is failing to compile.

auto-sklearn has the same problem. I guess this codebase is a fork of that or something?
