Possible issue with multiple sort in grids on the bridge

I was attempting to use the multiple sort mode in the kendo aurelia bridge grid. I noticed this was an option and is possible in the kendo libraries via Kendo Multiple Sort Grid Example.

I tried to accomplish this via the aurelia bridge via Kendo Aurelia Bridge Multiple Sort Grid Example.

I noticed that the Bridge version doesn't seem to work the same way. The multiple sort looks like it works initially but it actually doesn't. It just does a single sort and the second sort doesn't sort just toggles the sort image up and down with no effect.

I did the test with kendo grid itself and it works as expected but the bridge may have an issue.
