Answering here by @TRohit20 request: While the Application in the static example represents the client which sends the ping to the server, the Application in the dynamic example represents the server which receives the ping, answering to the channel the sender specifies in the message (ping) header. |

Why does the pingRequest operation action change from send to receive between the static and dynamic examples? It seems they should both be send.
