I am glad you are pushing this forward. I am not quite sure what was the main motivation to completely rewrite existing reporter, however, I do have to admit that the previous implementation has drawbacks which I believe this one will not re-implement :)

I am expecting not only 1:1 reimplementation with similar logic, but also new extensions which would benefit from this extension - being concrete - kind of dynamically created report log as your test case proceeds - that would be very fancy to see e.g. in Jenkins.

If you dont mind, I would be happy to know more about your ideas how you intend to use this.
