Hi everyone,

I’m new to this forum and I’m seeking some assistance with my setup. I have an X96 Max+ Ultra with an S905X4 chipset and 4GB of RAM 100M, and I’m running Armbian on it. However, Armbian doesn’t seem to have out-of-the-box support for my device.

My main issue is to setup the wifi thats the most important
Could someone please guide me on how to set up the DTB for my device? Specifically, I’m unsure whether I just need to uncomment a line in the boot.config file or if there are additional steps I need to follow.

Any help or detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

first things first

  • You need to identify the Wi-Fi chipset used in your TV box.
  • After determining the chipset, you need to find out if there is a Linux driver available for it.
  • Then, check whether the default kernel in ULO-BUILDER includes that driver or not.
  • Ensure that all Wi-Fi dependencies for the Armbian OS are installed.
  • Load the driver manually if it does not load automatically.
