Fix eslint errors and remove commented code

Describe the bug
When running project there are pretty much eslint errors that should be fixed and a lot of commented text, that can be deleted.

To Reproduce

1. start the project

I suggest the following TODO:

• fix eslint errors
• remove commented blocks of code
