Introduction

The Hyperledger Caliper documentation platform update project is a collaborative effort to enhance the quality, accessibility, and comprehensiveness of the documentation for the Hyperledger Caliper blockchain tool. By standardizing the documentation format, improving content, ensuring accuracy, and promoting inclusivity, this project aims to create a valuable resource that enables users to effectively understand and make use of the capabilities of Caliper within the broader Hyperledger ecosystem. The key objectives and focus areas of this project are:

• Standardize the Documentation Format:

  • Transition the current Caliper documentation site to utilize the common documentation template adopted by other Hyperledger projects.
  • This standardization will ensure consistency in structure, design, and navigation across all Hyperledger documentation platforms.
  • Users will experience a seamless and familiar documentation experience when exploring different Hyperledger projects.

• Enhance Documentation Content:

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing Caliper documentation content.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information.
  • Improve and expand the content to provide comprehensive coverage of all aspects of Hyperledger Caliper, including:
    • Installation guidelines
    • Configuration options and examples
    • Usage instructions and best practices
    • Troubleshooting tips and common issues
    • Advanced topics and use cases

• Ensure Accuracy and Up-to-Date Information:

  • Regularly review and update the documentation to reflect the latest changes, bug fixes, and new features in Hyperledger Caliper.
  • Collaborate with the Caliper development team to ensure the documentation aligns with the current state of the project.

• Improve Accessibility and User Experience:

  • Optimize the documentation for readability and comprehension by users with varying technical backgrounds.
