It took me a while to find this. We should link to the newer repository.

I just came across this too trying to work out if there is compatibility with D3v5.

There are a few npm packages:

I cannot find the source repo or changelog for the latest version (1.0.2) in the network or PR's, but there are significant structural build changes between the dist js files.

However for me personally this project seems to be replaced by d3fc which acknowledges techanjs as an influence in #200, #202, #217 .

Any news on the whereabouts of the v1.0.2 source?

That techan-js 1.0.2 is actually an older version of techan 0.8.0. Don't be fooled by the version number. I have compared the files in the src directories of both packages and techan 0.8.0 has more changes.

So, which on is the real one?

The master branch or the tag 0.8 ?
And, should the 1.0.2 on npmjs be avoided, as it's not the real thing?

I guess master branch should be considered a 0.9.0 pre-release ;^)
