I´m doing the intro with PixelPulse2 and an ADALM1000, but I can´t see any response or graph in the software. It reads the values, but doesn´t display anything. What can I do?

Hi,

We are looking into this. Can you tell us some details about your system?
What OS are you using, what Pixelpulse version?

We are currently working on a new release of Pixelpulse. We'll come back with some updates as soon as we discover anything.

Hello,

I did not manage to reproduce this yet. Do you have some more details on how does this happen? Are there certain steps that should be followed in order to reproduce this?

Could you provide a screenshot of the "About" tab, please?

Thank you,
-Alexandra

@AlexandraTrifan Sure, I started the steps to manage the software and the ADALM1000: https://wiki.analog.com/university/courses/engineering_discovery/lab_1

The software does recognize the values of Voltage and Current, but doesn´t display the wave form.

I have the same problem on Windows 10 and the same version of pixelpulse. Everything seems fine, e.g. firmware update works, but no wave forms are displayed.
I also wonder tha under >about it says "Built: 2018-09-05 Version: v1.0.3-3-gd3c6663" although I installed v1.0.4 from https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/Pixelpulse2/releases/tag/v1.0.4.
May be this download file is not the most recent one?
We bought a big number of M1K for university classes. So far I tested these devices only under Ubuntu 18.04. Most students however have Windows 10 PCs.
It's really not good for the reputation of Analog Devices if we can't use all the M1K in the end...
Can you please help me as soon as possible?

Hi,

Does this still happen with the latest release? https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/Pixelpulse2/releases/tag/v1.0.5

I have completely uninstalled the old Pixelpulse2 version 1.04 under Windows 10 Pro N and then installed the latest version of Pixelpulse2 (943a506 v1.0.5).
The new version crashes already at startup. With the old version I could at least update the firmware of the M1K ;-)

In the meantime I programmed my own UI "aliceLite" based on AliceDesktop. That means we don't need Pixelpulse2 at my university anymore.
See github.com/StefanMack/M1K (sorry it is in German language)

For Windows computers I integrated aliceLite into a slimmed down WinPython distribution, which the students can run as a portable app on their computers.
