I would love to be able to send the Visual + Numerical window out of the BlackMagic card via an SDI out. It would be ideal to be able to either use the SDI output of the BlackMagic card as a passthrough (which is what currently happens) or use the SDI output to display the Visual + Numerical view that ffplay shows. This way, the scopes and data being displayed could be sent to an HD SDI monitor.

I think it would still be worthwhile but definitely not as high of a priority. Those black magic sdi monitor out boxes are pretty cheap so it wouldn't break the bank to add a second output.
So I'm guessing this will work with some blackmagic devices so we can add the option. When I tested there was about a 1 second delay between the input and output. I need to test if that can be reduced or if it stays stable over long digitizations. And I need to test if the output can be HD even though the input is SD. Also the display would need to be redesigned to be 1920x1080 as currently the size is simply determined by the contents.
