In some cases where we have large numbers, such as one million, we abbreviate them to something like 1M. When testing this on VoiceOver, however, "1M" is announced as "one metre" rather than "one million".
I've only tested in VoiceOver so I'm unsure if this issue is specific to VO or replicated across other assistive tech.
