So... how do we distribute plugins. So far the only way is through make_ac_local_plugin_available which is a cmake function and expects the required build toolchain. This is likely unpleasant for non-c++ programmers (even even for C++ ones who just want to have a plugin)...
Maybe our own package manager is the only solution?
