Splunk Cloud - KVStores and Email Templates not populating #293

I've installed Alert Manager 3.0.7 on Splunk Cloud (Splunk Cloud 8.2.2106) however noticing a number of issues as shown on the health check:

I've had Ops provide the "edit_tcp" capability and can see both alert manager roles appearing of which my account is a member of.

However when trying to utilise elements of the app and confirm functionality is working:

  • Non of the KV stores appear to be populating (alert_status, alert_users, email_templates, incident_settings).
  • Using Lookup Editor or |inputlookup to check confirms they are blank.
  • Trying to use any of the dashboards shows no results.
  • Trying to use the User Settings dashboard to select either built-in or alert_manager just results in "both" when trying to save - no users are displayed.

Raised a ticket with Splunk support but they've pushed back saying this needs to go to developer.

Any suggestions as to what to try in order to get the App up and functional

Hi, any update on the issue? I have exaclty the same problem.
Splunk 8.1.1 AM 3.0.8
