What I've Tried

var myVariable = new LiveValidation('my_id', { validMessage: 'valid input', wait: 500});
myVariable.add(Validate.Presence, {failureMessage: "required field"});

I try clicking on the select file button and then cancelling and moving to the next field and no validation error messages are shown.
