Moving followers (back) #326

Sorry to report that moving your followers is "ActivityPub plugin territory." @pfefferle has already started to implement "Move" functionality in the ActivityPub plugin so I recommend watching that PR to see when it's done! The Friends plugin would be responsible for moving your Follows, and although I don't understand the process well enough yet, I think the Friends plugin will provide the list of people you follow so that they can be moved alongside. |

Oh, no, I missed these responses! Apologies for the prolonged silence. @akirk, thanks for the pointer! And @pfefferle, thanks for chiming in—I may be misunderstanding something, but I haven’t achieved anything yet… I was asking whether it is possible to bring my followers back to my original Mastodon account (hopefully without overwriting my new followers there), now that I’m not redirecting to WordPress anymore. Hi there,
A few months ago, I started redirecting my Mastodon account to my WordPress blog, using this plugin, the ActivityPub plugin, and the Enable Mastodon apps plugin.
I would like to revert that, and bring my account to its former state. However, canceling the redirect won’t bring back my followers automatically.
How can I move my followers (back)?
Thanks so much for your help!
