I think it would be nice if we could close off the project by adding a readme to it, maybe what it was all about. Nothing urgent but let's not leave our chatapp just like that! it deserves a solid readme.

Yes this is a great idea. Typically a readme would provide

  1. A short summary of what the project is.
  2. Any prerequisites such as having a particular version Node.js installed, docker, etc.
  3. Steps/commands for getting it running locally
