semantic-release has been disabled for a while now (github tag + release has been removed). I tried to restore but it still does not work because of adobe/helix-cli#2280.
I think the semantic release is useful to know which boilerplate you used when you created a project and keep track of the diff if really desired. But as soon as you create the project, we need to make sure to clean the project properly which also seems to be broken (see #297).
If none of that can be resolved properly, then we should get rid of the semantic-release dependencies, config and workflow.
