[Bug] Funky blockquote

When using blockquote, there seem to be several edge cases which cause it to perform strangely:

The # is visible on the second line

# a
> # b

# c

looks like

a

# b

c

---

The c is not on a newline, even with two \n between it and the b

a
> b

c

looks like

a

b c

---

The c is inside the blockquote, when there are two \n of separation

a
> b

# c

looks like

a

b
