If any of agShape(map) are set to "EGG", then the no points are shown in the viewer.

set.seed(850909)
dat <- matrix(10*2^round(10*runif(100)), ncol=10)
map <- make.acmap(dat, number_of_dimensions = 3)
view(map)
agShape(map)[1] <- "EGG"
view(map)
