Using Gource for keeping track of document versions an authors

Dear developers

It is possible to employ Gource for keeping track of documets versions made by a group of contribuitors like you are doing with fithub projects? I mean per example projects generated on Google Drive or other repostories.

As well in software development a functionality like the last I think will help to keep track also the list of different contribuitors in a creative manner.

Please tell me if this idea has sense for all of you.
