pigments using massive amounts of CPU in the background? #459

Hello,

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 with Atom 1.51.0 x64 and pigments 0.40.2. When I open Atom and then close the Atom window, sometimes there will be background processes using massive amounts of CPU, and it appears pigments may be the culprit. When this is happening, my system is nearly unusable. Uninstalling pigments seems to do the trick, but that's not really something I want to have to do.

As you can see in the pictures, it looks like pigments is compiling some sort of cache in the background? Is there any way to disable this caching in the background?

Thanks.
