In certain cases fetching a slot that is not exactly 32 bytes long fails.

For example this fails:
cast storage 0xdAC17F958D2ee523a2206206994597C13D831ec7 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

While this succeeds:
cast storage 0xdAC17F958D2ee523a2206206994597C13D831ec7 0x1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
