Enhancement suggestion: Add "default settings" to preferences

It would be nice if I could change the default settings for plots and save them such that they will always be used when I start Shape-Out. For example, right know, the KDE settings for scatter plots is "Histogram", I would like to change that to "Gauss" permanently. Or maybe I would like to change the level 2 contour plot line width to 2 pt instead of 1.5 pt or something like that.

I think, in the preferences under "General" would be a good place for this. It doesn't even need to be exportable, and a "reset to default" button is already there.

I would like to add that not only settings for plots could be added, but options to set the default viscosity model or look-up table would be really nice!
