CHANGES
=======
0.2.0 (2011-07-19)
------------------
- Features:
- HTTP cache support
- Better integration with Django 1.3
- Proxy proccessors that allow modifications on the request that
is routed through the proxy.
- Optimizations:
- Use sprites for the icons and other images of the user interface
- Better handling of the base tag of the gadgets by reading the hostname
from the active Site object.
- Usability improvements:
- Tab renaming now uses a dialog instead of being inline because that's
easier to test with Selenium.
- Localization of default labels for tabs, workspaces, etc.
- Cleanups:
- Remove the UserRelatedToGadgetResource model from the catalogue app
because it didn't provide a clear value but increased the complexity.
- Remove the SharedVarDef (gadget app) and SharedVarValue (workspace app)
models because the increased the number of joins needed in the queries
and they weren't really needed.
- Remove the marketplace support from the catalogue since it was a
experimental feature that we didn't really need/use.
- Lots of cleanups on the catalogue javascript.
- Remove old support for compressing javascript and css files.
- Bug fixes:
- Several bug fixes in the javascript delivered to Internet Explorer
- Fixes and updates for the iPhone support
- Support for Safari on Mac OS X
- Fix workspace merging
- Fix the preferences saving in configurable mashups
- Fix cached variables errors
- Fix error when adding a gadget that was removed from the workspace
- Fix error when unplugging an event/slots channel
- Avoid creating workspace with empty names
- Lots of misc bug fixes
0.1.0 (2011-05-06)
------------------
- Initial version after the fork from EzWeb to wirecloud
- The main differences from the EzWeb project are:
- Configurable workspaces
- Different theme infrastructures: we have removed
the layout application and now the user can not
change the appearance. Yes, we have removed this
feature.
- Speed improvements
- Selenium functional tests for the core features
- Optimize the gadget template processing
- Initial docs in Sphinx format. They are work in
progress, don't expect anything useful yet.
