What problem does this address?

When placing two images side by side, the image boundary when selecting the subsequent image overflows and takes on the space above. This is hard to explain so here are some visuals:

This was found as part of the sixteenth FSE Outreach Program call for testing.

What is your proposed solution?

Ensure the boundary for an image aligns with the image itself. This is a bit of an opposite but similar problem to #28915 and #36789

@annezazu, is this still an issue, or did the situation improve after #63341?
