Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver is needed In order to use back paddles and other features of Xbox Elite controller.
As far as I know this driver can only be installed via Steam.
When I press the corresponding "Install" button an error window pops up:
"Driver installation failed, is Steam running as a normal user and is the Steam service running and up to date?"
This is not related to controller itself. Controller is visible and recognised as a Xbox controller by Steam.
Whisky ver. 2.3.4
MacOS 15.0
Steps to reproduce
Open Steam
Go to Settings > Controller
Scroll down to "Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver"
Press "Install" button next to it
Any way or chance to go around this limitation and make Steam recognize this controller (or at least back paddles as separate buttons)?
Everything's just fine and works smooth. The only issue - these back paddles.
