The CollabPress menus offer a confusing user interface. The home screen that we call "Dashboard" is a list of all Projects a user has access to. The menu in this non-project-specific context also offers links to a Calendar detailing all tasks across projects, as well as a link to Activity across all projects.

When with a specific project's context, we are given links specific to the project (Overview, Calendar, Tasks, Files, Users), along with a link back to the Dashboard.

I'm sure there's some design decisions we could make here to make this menu feel more intuitive.

We recently switched back to Collabpress. But in the past, we implemented DataTable which created a nice sortable, and searchable, table. This, in our opinion, added to the user experience by providing an easy interface to search through your projects - especially the live search function.

datatable

This was only used for the 'front-page' where there is an overview of all the projects.
