As members, contributors, and leaders of the SocioSell community, we pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone. We welcome contributors regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to creating an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community focused on innovating the future of social commerce.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our community include:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people
- Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences, especially regarding e-commerce and social media practices
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback on code, documentation, and feature suggestions
- Taking responsibility for our mistakes, apologizing to those affected, and learning from the experience
- Focusing on what is best for the overall community and the project's goal of bridging social media and e-commerce
- Supporting and mentoring new contributors, especially those new to open source
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information, such as physical or email addresses, without explicit permission
- Spamming, excessive self-promotion, or unethical marketing practices
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior. They have the right and responsibility to:
- Remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions
- Ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for behaviors they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful
- Protect the privacy and security of other community members
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, including:
- GitHub repositories and discussions
- Discord server
- Project documentation
- Social media channels
- Community events and meetups
- Any other spaces where you're representing SocioSell
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the project maintainers at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or other behavior deemed unprofessional. Consequence: Private warning from maintainers, with clarification of the violation.
Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions. Consequence: Warning with consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the people involved for a specified period.
Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards. Consequence: Temporary ban from any interaction with the community for a specified period.
Community Impact: Pattern of violation of community standards. Consequence: Permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.
